Information Details:

08/03 - National Night Out - Carroll Township Police Department invites all residents of the area to attend their annual National Night Out celebration, which will be held on August 3, 2010 from 5-9 PM at Logan Park. Logan Park is located on Logan Road in Carroll Township. Officers from Carroll Township will be having an old time family style cook out with exhibits by local fire departments, law enforcement and prizes. The concept of the National Night Out is to promote crime prevention within the community.

08/03 - York/Adams Regional Smart Growth Coalition is hosting a Homeowner Presentation of the Electric Rate Caps for York and Adams Counties at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort & Conference Center, 2700 Mount Rose Avenue, York, PA 17402. For more information see flyer click here.

08/07, 08/14, 08/21,08/28 - Dillsburg Farmers Market, Saturdays 7-12, The Market will run every Saturday from 7:00 AM until Noon thru October. The location for the Market is in the parking lot for Springhouse Artisans and Antiques, 117 North Baltimore Street. It will feature fruit and produce ( not chemically fertilized), baked goods and quality crafts/ artwork. All the items featured will be locally produced and help support local farms and businesses.

08/18 - NOTICE OF 45 DAY REVIEW PERIOD AND PUBLIC MEETING
   NORTHERN YORK COUNTY REGIONCOMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT

The municipalities of Carroll Township, Dillsburg Borough, Franklin Township, and Franklintown Borough invite all interested parties to review and provide comment on a proposed amendment to the Northern York County Region Comprehensive Plan.  The amendment involves the addition of a Transportation Amendment focusing on the Route 15 Corridor through York County and a portion of Adams County. This review opportunity satisfies the transit programming requirements of Sections 5307 and 5309 of the U.S.C., Title 49, and the requirements of Section 302.(a.1) of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.

A Public Meeting will be held to provide an overview of the Plans and receive comment as follows:
