01/09 - The Dillsburg Girls Softball Association (DGSA) will be holding their 2010 spring registration on Saturday, January 9th.  Signups will be held at the Franklintown Fire Hall from 9:00 t0 1:00.  Registration is open to all girls in the who are between the ages of 5 and 18.  DGSA also offers a 19 – 23 year old slow pitch division.  The cost of registration is $55.00 for the first family member, $50.00 for the second family member and free for third or more family members.  All instructional age (ages five through 8) will receive a $5.00 deduction.  Playing age is determined based on your age on January 1, 2010.  Please remember that if you are new to the league to bring a copy of your birth certificate.   A late sign up fee of $10.00 will be charged for all sign-ups after January 16th.  If you cannot attend the sign-up dates above or would like more information please contact us at dgsaleague@gmail.com or 432-7957.

01/09 - Dillsburg Area Soccer Club Spring Registration is being held at the Carroll Township Municipal Building, 555 Chestnut Grove Road, Dillsburg from 10 AM to 1 PM. Registration Fee: new players $55 (for spring season) and returning fall players $320 (for spring season). For directions, forms and additional information check the DASC website: www.dascsoccer.org

01/09 - The Eaken Piano Trio will be performing at the old Monaghan Presbyterian Church in Dillsburg. (Located behind the Post Office on Church Street) beginning at 7:30 PM. The Eaken Piano Trio is an internationally acclaimed group that is noted for their enthusiastic performances and innovative audience presentations. They have numerous recordings and their music is beautifully enhanced in the surroundings of Historic Monaghan.  Join us for their annual January concert at Historic Monaghan, and another beautiful evening of chamber music, as only they can perform it. Concerts are free and donations are appreciated to assist in continuing the series with the Dillsburg Area Revitalization Committee.  For information contact: Jay Young (432-4409).
