01/11 - The GFWC Dillsburg Woman's Club will have their annual Chili Dinner at the Dillsburg Senior Center on January 11, 2011, at 6:30 p.m.  After dinner our club will be entertained with Ron Clancy from the Beaver Creek Conservation Group.  He will speak about making a better world with community conservation projects.  Members may bring a dish to share.  Guests may call 795-7041 for information.  Come and enjoy.

01/15 - Dillsburg Area Soccer Club Spring Registration is being held at the Carroll Township Municipal Building, 555 Chestnut Grove Road, Dillsburg from 10 AM to 1 PM. Registration Fee: new players $55 (for spring season) and returning fall players $30 (for spring season). New Players U9 and above need to supply the following: 1X1 picture, copy of birth certificate, EPYSA form & registration fee; New U6-U8 players need to supply the following: EPYSA form & registration fee; Returning players need to supply the registration fee. 01/15 - The Eaken Piano Trio will be presenting a concert at Historic Monaghan Church, located behind the Dillsburg Post Office on Church Street, Dillsburg, PA beginning at 7:30 pm. This nationally/internationally recognized group has performed classical chamber music for over 24 years. Their music, performed in the Historic Monaghan Church, provides a very special evening of entertainment and enjoyment.  Admission is free and donations are appreciated.  For additional information contact Jay Young- 432-4409.

01/22 - Babysitter's Training Class sponsored by Graystone Bank, Dillsburg Branch is being held at the West Shore Evangelical Free Church from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. Cost is $40 (cash only) payments may be made at the Dillsburg Branch (Monday-Saturday from 10am to 7pm). Register now-space is limited. In this American Red Cross course, you'll learn how to: Supervise children and infants, perform basic child-care skills (diapering, feeding, dressing), identify safety hazards and prevent injuries, communicate with parents, care for common injuries and emergencies (choking, burns, cuts, bee stings), find and interview for babysitting jobs and much more. This is a FUN course for those ages 11-15. Please dress comfortably.
