05/06 - The Dillsburg Garden Club will be holding their annual plant & bake sale on Friday, May 6th at the Giant Shopping Center (in front of H&R Block) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. They will be selling plants, flowers, bulbs, & shrubs donated by local gardeners and nurseries as well as goodies from their members' kitchens. This is a great opportunity to pick up a gift for Mother's Day.

05/07 - Mt. Airy UM Church will have its 11th annual pancake breakfast and yard sale, on the parking lot and in the lower level of the fellowship hall. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. The cost is $4.00 and will be served by the children and youth fromthe church. This event will be held from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The church is located at 2020 Pinetown Road, Wellsville. Follow Rte 177 to Pinchot State Park Offcie amd turn onto Mt. Airy Road. Go to the end and make a left. The church is on the right. Signs will be posted. In addition to the yardsale, there will be baked goods, hot dogs, BBQ, homemade chicken corn and ham & bean soup by the quart or bowl for sale. This event is held rain or shine. All proceeds will go to the building fund.

05/07 - MAYDAY SATURDAY, Wrestling Extravaganza - 7:00 PM bell start at the Citzens' Hose Community Hall. #1 Contenders Match, Battle Royal, Ladies Match, and four Championship matches.
General Admission $10; Pre-Event Discount 4/$35. Children under 6 free on lap.

05/14 - 2011 PickleFest Street Fair from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Greenbrier Lane from HArrisburg Pike to North Baltimore Street. PickleFest is hosted by Citizens Hose Support Group and Northern York County Historic & Preservation Society (NYCHAPS). Vendors line Greenbrier Lane leading to the Dill TAvern where "Publik Tyme" visitors travel back through history, in an encampment of re-enacators and historic demonstrators. Activities center at Maple Shade Barn, 35 Greenbrier Ln: 5K Pickle Chase, Fun Run, Fire-Eating/Magic Show, Live Music, Bounce House, Safety House, Pickle Ball, Picke-Eating Contest, Pickle Ice Cream, Pickle Soup and more! Despite this event being held on their "due date, " Mr. & Mrs. Pickle will be on hand to provide photo opportunities with the public. A 'Name the Baby" contest at 1:00pm, dubs the winner as "Godparent." Emergency responders will monitor Mrs. Pickle's vital signs throughout the day, just in case of pickling. 05/14 - Dillsburg Fun Festival at the Dillsburg GIANT Parking lot from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Come out to the Graystone Bank Fun Festival, sponsored by the Dillsburg Branch. Enjoy a day of free, fun, family-friendly activities while helping us make a positive impact across the world. We'll also be sponsoring Forgotten Voices International, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children orphaned by AIDS in southern Africa to meet physical needs. Dillsburg Farmers Market, Saturdays 7-12, Parking lot of Spring house Artisan and Antiques, 117 N Baltimore St., Dillsburg. The Market will run every Saturday and continue through October from 7:00 AM until Noon.
