12/06 - Light Up Night (7:00 pm) Join us at the Dillsburg Square for the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree and after the tree is lit, you are welcome to join Santa & Mrs. Claus for some music and refreshments at the Dillsburg Library.

12/14 - Dillsburg - Annual Candy-Cookie-Nut Sale @ Monaghan Presbyterian Church will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 9 a.m. in the church narthex.  This annual event, featuring delicacies prepared by Monaghan's finest, never disappoints!  Plan to arrive early as congregation favorites sell out quickly!  Monaghan Presbyterian Church is located at 1185 Gettysburg Pike in Dillsburg, PA.  For more information please contact the Monaghan Presbyterian church office at 432-4324 or visit

12/14 - The annual Colonial Candlelight Service, hosted at Historical  Monaghan, ( located on 15 E. Church Street in Dillsburg), will take place on Saturday, December 14th at 7:00 p.m.   The service will include the reading of traditional Christmas Scripture by Rev. 12/31 - Dillsburg's 21st Annual New Year's Eve Pickle Drop - Activities for all ages from 4:30 pm to midnight, from the Dillsburg square to Citizens' Hose fire Company's Community Hall located at 109 S Baltimore Street. 4:30-8:00 PM: Blood Drive at Citizens Hose Fire Co. #1 (Benefiting the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank) - Holidays create a high demand for resources while donations tend to drop. Please support this critical need!  Free T-shirts provided, while they last; 4:30-11:30 PM: Indoor Entertainment at the Community Memorial Hall and Children’s Games benefit New Hope Ministries; Pickle Parlor provides face, hair & fingernail painting; Feast on the Dillsburg Senior Center's Famous Pickle Soup and Citizens Hose's Cheese steaks, burgers, hot dogs, and Pickle-Dip Chocolate Fountain; 4:30-7:00 PM: Michael Thomas performs interactive Magic for all ages; 7:00 PM: Early Celebration - Baby Pickle’s First Drop - The Pickle’s baby gherkin, "Lil' Dill," will conduct her first drop this year, in conjunction with Ireland's midnight. This celebration honors Dillsburg's Irish founders while providing family fun for those who strive to be in bed before midnight!; 7:30-11:30 PM: Dillsburg Kiwanis host Bingo upstairs in the hall; 9:00-Midnight: Outdoor Entertainment on South Baltimore Street and Dance in the streets to the diverse beats of Rhythm on Main more on Rhythm on Main and even more on Rhythm on Main. Vendor offerings include Fried Pickles, French Fries, Novelty items and more ...; Silver Disc Productions -DJ Brad Milbrand hosts the midnight activities; PICKLE DROP at Midnight on the Square, followed by Fireworks.
