Information Details:

08/05 - National Night Out celebration will be held from 5-9 pm at Logan Park. Logan Park is located on Logan Road in Carroll Township. Officers from Carroll Township Police Department will be having an old time family style cook out with exhibits by local fire departments, law enforcement and prizes. The concept of National Night is to promote crime prevention within the community, and to take back out streets from criminals and drug dealers, in effort to make our streets safe for families by heightening community awareness in combating crime and drugs. So come out and meet your friends, neighbors along with the police officers that serve you. It's a fun time for all. Carroll Township Police are asking residents to bring a non-perishable food item along for New Ministries, which will ne collecting for their Food Bank.

08/14, 15, 16 - 73rd Annual Carnival, Wellsville Fire Company –
Thursday is the ride special night, purchase an arm band, and ride until 9 pm.  The band is “Colt Wilbur Band.”  Event opens at 5 pm, there will be an antique tractor display.  There will be BBQ chicken, ham and bean soup, and ham dinners.  The outside food stand will have sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, and french-fries, etc.
Friday the event opens at 5 pm, the full menu will be available.  The band is “Borderline.”
Saturday the event opens at 4 pm, the band is “Laredo.”
Games, rides, bingo, raffles available every day.

08/16 - World War II Tribute Day from 9am to 4pm at Dills Tavern - Dillsburg will commemorate the World War II era and honor our hometown heroes on WWII Tribute Day. The event will feature reenactors and living historians, encampments, speakers, and a small tactical demonstration. Stop by the World War II Art exhibit, and find your relative on the Wall of Honor paying homage to Dillsburg’s WWII veterans. You won’t want to miss the vintage car show either, showcasing WWII-era cars and vehicles. Tribute Day admission is free and period dress is encouraged. 08/16 - World War II Dance, featuring the Will Fisher Orchestra from 7-10 pm at Dills Tavern - The annual USO-style Big Band Dance under the stars will be taking place again this year in the courtyard at Dill’s Tavern. Jazz and Big Band music will be provided by “The Will Fisher Orchestra,” under the baton of Clair Zeiders. Bring a lawn chair; event is rain or shine. Light refreshments will be provided and period clothing is welcomed. Cost is $15 per person, with sales benefiting the restoration project at the Tavern.
