06/03 -Kindle Basic Class - Learn about and practice some Kindle functions. Learn how to download free eBooks from the Library. Bring your own Kindle. Please call the Library at 432-5613 to register.

06/05 - Lego Club - Bricks 4 Kidz program. FREE; *Registration Required; maximum 25 children ages 6 and up. Call the Library at 432-5613 to register or be placed on the waiting list. Lego Club meets the first Thursday of each month.

06/07 - Used Book Sale - Pick up a book for your summer getaway! The Dillsburg Library will hold a used book sale in the back of the Library. We will have gently used hardcover and paperback books for all ages - fiction, nonfiction, history, biography, cookbooks and crafts. Something for everyone!

06/07 - Caryn Lyn, internationally known electric violinist, will be performing at the Historic Monaghan Church, 15 East Church Street, in Dillsburg beginning at 7:00PM. The concert is sponsored by the Polar Bear Foundation and the Northern Arts Council,  supported by the Dillsburg Revitalization and Arts Society. It is FREE to the public and admission is on a first come basis. Caryn has played everywhere from Lincoln Center to Six Flags; the Kimmel Center to the Crayola Crayon factory; an 800th anniversary of a monastery in the French alps to thousands of kids in school "cafetoriums". Her music has been featured on MTV's "The Real World," and on 150 international radio stations including Sirius/XM satellite. She appeared performing in the movie Philadelphia. Caryn Lyn does not simply play the violin, she has electrified & reinvented it and then continually takes it where no human has ever dared. In a nutshell, Caryn Lyn provides a jaw-dropping, eye-opening, mind-expanding feast for your ears and your soul, a unique artist playing highly original music with passion, heart, and imagination. 06/13 & 06/14 - Ashcombe Shop for a Cause to Benefit the Dillsburg Library - Present a coupon with yourr Ashcombe purchase during these two days and up to 20% of your purchase will be donated tot he Dillsburg Library. This is a great opportunity to support the Library! You must present a coupon to qualify. Coupons may be picked up at the Library.

06/14 - Fiber Day from 8am to 4pm at Dills Tavern - Join us for another free “Family Days at Dill’s” event! This year’s Fiber Day will include Fiber Crafts demonstrations such as weaving, quilting, spinning, broom making, and crocheting. There will be live animals, children’s activities, food, and make-and-take mini-workshops. Tours of Dill’s Tavern will be conducted at reduced charge. Fiber vendors will also be selling their raw materials and finished products, from hand-dyed yarn to tatted jewelry. Vendor spaces are still available! 06/20 - 10th Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Dillsburg - Remember the past and look forward to the future as we “Relay Through Time” at the 10th anniversary of ACS Relay for Life of Dillsburg at Bostic Field (Northern High School football field).  The relay is 24 hours starting at noon on Friday, June 20th with opening speeches, ceremonial activities and National Anthem starting at 4pm.  The theme for this year’s event is “RELAY THROUGH TIME” with reflections on past years events and spotlights on survivor highlights.  During this year’s events, the teams will relay through 24 hours of walking until the event closes on Saturday.  That equates to 1,440 hours of walking (86,400 seconds!)  We walk all night because CANCER NEVER SLEEPS.  Please help us by signing up to walk or stopping by to support the event.  Games, music, a car show, a yard sale and food are all on the agenda.  There will be many fun activities for both kids and adults throughout the event.  A “Survivors Reception and Celebration” with Luminaria lighting is scheduled for Friday evening.  If you are a survivor and/or caretaker please attend this celebration of life.  If you are interesting in forming a team, please email RFLofdillsburg@gmail.com or visit www.relayforlife.org/dillsburg for more details.

06/29 - Tech Guru - Don't be perplexed by that new tech gadget you received. The Tech Guru from Martin Library will be at the Dillsburg Library. This is a help session for tablets, smartphones, eReaders and other electronic devices.
