Information Details:

05/14 - Pancake, Egg & Sausage Breakfast from 6:30 am to 11:00 am at Mt Airy Church, 2020 Pinetown Rd, Wellsville. Cost is $6.00 for adults; Kids 5 and under are free. Some yard sale items to be sold!

5/19 - Block Party at the Dillsburg Library from 6-7pm. Come ready to build! If you are too young for Lego Club, then this is for you! This is for children aged 2-5 with a parent or caregiver. No registration is required, but appreciated by calling 717-432-5613 or visit www.YorkLibraries.org/dillsburg.

05/21 - "Crowning Glory" Cap-Making Workshop for ladies and gents at Dills Tavern & Plantation from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Workshop fee is $125, which includes materials, refreshments and lunch. Learn to make a historically accurate lady or gentlemen's cap of the 18th century. Choose from several styles from 1750-1790. In this class you will not only learn to hand sew a cap for yourself, you will also learn the history behind it. Men's styles are the choice of a leisure cap or a workman's cap. Ladies' styles are a range of caps. Material and sewing patterns, as well as instructions to continue your cap at home, will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a basic sewing kit including needles and pins. This workshop is limited to 10 participants. 05/26 - The Tech Guru will be at the Dillsburg Library to answer all your tech device questions.

05/30 - Memorial Day Parade and Services: Monday, May 30, 2016—Parade forms at 10:00 am at the VFW and kicks-off at 10:45 am. Flag raising and wreath placing at Citizen’s Hose Fire Company at 11:00 am, the parade continues to the Cemetery for Services at 11:30 am.  All veterans are welcome to march or ride with us. If you can’t walk, we will have cars at VFW to ride in. Scout (Boys and Girls) and other community organizations are welcome to march and show respect for veterans of today and those who have passed. We will also have a short service at all Dillsburg area cemetery's between 7:30 and 9:00 am, with Prayer, taps and firing squad salute.  We will place flags on Dillsburg cemetery on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 5:00pm. Anyone who wants to help is welcome.
