Information Details:

11/3, 11/10, 11/17 - Toddler Time at the Dillsburg Library is every Wednesday from 10:30-11:15am for ages 0-3 and their caregiver.

11/03 - Lego CLub is for children aged 6 and up and is held every first Thursday of the month at the Dillsburg Library. We will provide Legos for this event. This program is free and no registration is required.

11/05 - 1st Annual Franklintown & Community Fire Co "The Mattress Fundraiser" from 11am to 6 pm at 107 Baltimore Rd, Franklintown, PA. Every purchase benefits the Fire Company.

11/07 - Native American History of the Susquehanna River Basin - Historian Stephen Runkle describes the chronology of events that occurred during the exploration and early settlement of the Susquehanna River Basin by Europeans, from 17th to early 18th centuries.

11/08 - Election Day - Please remember to vote. The voting location for Dillsburg Borough residents is at Dillsburg Senior Center, 1 North Second Street, Dillsburg. The polls are open from 7:00am to 8:00pm

11/8, 11/15, 11/29 - Preschool Storytime at the Dillsburg Library is every Tuesday from 10:30-11:30am. It's geared towards ages 3-5, but all are welcomed. Children will enjoy stories and a craft.

11/10 & 11/30- Sit, Stay, Read - Youth Services is embarking on an exciting new venture for early readers who need practice reading aloud in a non-judgmental setting. Children (ages5-9) can register for a slot to sit and read to Bliss, a golden retriever who is happy to listen with a smile and a tail way. To register for a slot on November 10th or 30th between 6 and 7 pm, please call 717-432-5613.

11/12 - Fall Clean-up at Logan Park beginning at 9:00am. The community is invited to bring a rake and come and lend a hand at the park.

11/12 - Crafting for adults program: Christmas Cards Craft from 1:30-4:30pm at the library. Join Lori Staley to create 3 Christmas Cards using Stampin' Up! products. There is a $5.00 fee for this program. Please call the library at 432-5613 to register.

11/13 - All you can eat Pot Pie Dinner on Sunday, November 13 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Franklintown Fire Company. Cost is $10.00; $5.00 for 6-12 and 5 and under eat free. Take outs available.

11/13 - Celtic Music Concert - Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Historic Monaghan Church. Tickets are $15. Charlie Zahm, one of the most popular soloists at Celtic music festivals, will be joined by fantastic Baltimore fiddler Tad Marks, considered one of the finest fiddlers on the east Coast, in a concert of Celtic music pleasing to all members of the family. CHarlie is a master of the guitar and brings an authentic love and respect for the music he sings. Be prepared for dashes of humor as Charlie and Tad draw you into the stories of their songs.

11/17 - Block Party at the Dillsburg Library from 6-7pm. Come ready to build! If you are too young for Lego Club, then this is for you! This is for children aged 3-5 with a parent or caregiver. 11/19 - Celebrate International Games Day at the Library from 1:00-3:00pm. More than two thousand libraries around the world will celebrate the 9th annual International Games Day @Your Library. Join us for tabletop games, snacks, and a good time. Ages 13 & up.

11/20 - Old Time Hymn Sing-featuring Thanksgiving and Christmas songs at the Historic Monaghan Church, 15 E Church Street on Sunday November 20, 2016 beginning at 2:00 pm. Come fellowship with others from our community.
