Street Closures:
Harrisburg – Monday, March 2, construction crews are scheduled to begin drainage pipe replacement on Mountain Road near Dillsburg Borough and the Village of Beavertown, marking the start of a repair and resurfacing project on a 5½-mile stretch from County Line Road at the York/Adams County Line in Franklin Township to Dogwood Lane in Carroll Township. Motorists are advised they may encounter single-lane restrictions with flaggers alternating traffic through the work zone as crews replace 23 drainage cross pipes, improve drainage swale, repair the roadway base and shoulders, install guiderail, resurface the roadway with a bituminous overlay and paint new traffic lines. Some sections of Mountain Road average 4,135 vehicles traveled each day.
PennDOT has contracted with Valley Quarries, Inc., of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to conduct the highway improvement project at a cost of $1,288,799. The entire project is scheduled to be finished by the end of July.

The 100 Block of East Welty Avenue will be closed on November 13, 2008 from 7 AM until approximately 5 PM, except for emergency access, due to large oak trees being cut down by 100 E. Welty Ave. This is a precautionary measure due to the trees being tangled with power lines. There is NO Power Outage scheduled at this time.
